"Stones of Bath" fabric designed by John Piper in 1959 for Arthur Sanderson and Sons.
The print is one of five John Piper (1903-1992) designs that Arthur Sanderson & Sons commissioned as part of their centenary celebrations (1960).
The fabric was exhibited at the John Piper Tate retrospective (1983). It is held in the V&As archives.
This piece measures 10 inches wide by 16 inches long (approx) . I have not washed it. It has some minior fade including a fade line approx one inches from left selvedge (please contact me for further images). Cotton
